Laurel is a Registered Acupuncturist and certified Acupuncture Detoxification Specialist. She completed the Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) Doctorate Diploma Program in 2004 and continues to study new and exciting ways to treat people with acupuncture. She is trained in TCM and Japanese acupuncture and moxibustion, Tung and Tan style Balance Method acupuncture, Koryo Hand Therapy, and NADA acupuncture for addictions and mental health.
Laurel is also a Clinical Herbalist trained in Eastern and Western traditions of herbology. She is an avid wildcrafter, and makes most of her remedies at her apothecary in Keremeos.
