Gua Sha (also called scraping) uses a smooth, flat tool, traditionally made of jade or bone, to rub the surface of the skin. This technique is used to remove stagnant blood or toxins (like lactic acid), loosen fascia, unblock tight muscles, reduce pain and inflammation, promote circulation, and stimulate immunity.
It is useful for pain, strain, tension, stress, mobility issues, musculoskeletal injuries, headaches and migraines, overexertion, stress, respiratory illnesses and immunity.
